The Puppy Place: Chewy and Chica
I've been reading a lot this week,
not just 'cuz I don’t have a lot of homework, but also because these Puppy
Place and Kitty Corner (another series like puppy place) are REALLY good. This
one is about 2 chihuahuas that are
rescued from a puppy mill.
Series:
The Puppy Place

Main
Characters (M.C.): Chewy, Chica, Lizzie and Charles Peterson
Quotes
from the book About the M.C.:
Chewy: “And I already thought of a
name for him, Chewy. Because he's always bitting and chewing.”
Chica: “As mom parked the van,
Lizzie looked down at the tiny black-and-white puppy in her lap and shook her
head. She still couldn't believe what had just happened back there at the
shelter.”
Lizzie and Charles Peterson:
“Charles and Lizzie peterson love puppies. Their family fosters these young
dogs, giving them love and proper care until they can find a perfect forever
home.”
On
the back:
Charles and Lizzie peterson love
puppies. Their family fosters these young dogs, giving them love and proper
care until they can find a perfect forever home.
Charles can't stand how Lizzie acts
like a know-it-all about dogs. Lizzie is older and thinks charles should listen
to what she says. So when twin chihuahua puppies need help, it becomes a
competition. Who will find a home first for these super special pups?
I would recommend this book for
Elementry school students who hate animal cruelty, especially dogs. I wish
every state had puppy mill laws now.
Hope
you love it,
Adelaide
