What I thought about this book:

I loved the continuation of Gabrielle Sweet's journey. But, I wanted to slap Chase a couple times during the book. :P Other than that, it really captured me and was a great sequel. :D

From the book:

The cover is a jackpot, I've always thought, with the eye-catching red dress, the smile hinted on Lady Gabrielle's lips. My name is bold, and beneath it are the words, "Award Winning Author!"

But instead of accomplishment, my hard work's reward, I see petty revenge. I see the pain that ate from the inside, that I had no clue how to manage. Why not weave it into a story, I had thought. How harmless.
I close the flaps of the box without so much as brushing against one of the books. I see clearly now--making the revenge public was a lot of things, but harmless wasn't one of them.
